  • Outward personality: Aza tends to be more soft-spoken and quiet. She tries her best to listen to people, while offering advice to things when people are willing to hear it. She does her best to be a good and loyal friend and wife. She also tends to offer help if anyone needs it.

  • Inward personality: Aza is a sadomasochist with a love of combat. She enjoys training, hunting, and fighting. If allowed she tends to go all out in sparring, with the idea of win or lose you always learn something. She will do anything and everything to protect those she loves.

Basic Info


  • northern nomadic hunter tribe that worship Nhaama, and live by the lunar cycles. They belive in strength and beauty and will only pick mates who fit both traits to an extreme degree. due to this the tribe developed physical traits of fangs, claws and secondary horns.

  • The lunar cycle offers great import on good breeding, those born under the new moon are seen as Nhaama's blessed and known to become tribal leaders, those under the crescents are strong warriors, while those under the full moon are seen as Nhaama's cursed and doom to exile.

  • Tribe Appearance: Skin tones tend to be pale purples and warm peaches with common eye colors of Lavender with mist purple limbal and reds with orange limbal. Mating and Marriage


  • Mating and Marriage: Just before the start of a yearly lunar cycle a festival called the Dusk Calling take place. The Auri whom come of age compete in a string of contests in which the top five men and top five women are paired in a life bond in hopes of breeding a stronger generation. Pairings can and tend to produce up to 4 offspring, as to keep numbers in a reasonable number and to make sure each pairing has at least one strong off spring.

  • The Dusk Calling: At the start new lunar cycle a contest is held where auri whom come of age participate in a contest of might and beauty. The top 5 men and top 5 women are then bid to pair and mate, with the women picking their male life bond. Winners are selected by getting the most points in each of the three activities.

    1) blood moon hunt: the participants are bid to track and hunt prey to showcase their knowledge of beasts and terrain. Auri whom bring back a decent kill with good meat and unblemished coat scores the most points. Meat is used for the end feast and pelts sold.

    2) might of the eclipse: a set of sparring matches between the participants as a show of might. Participants get the most points by avoiding being hurt or scarred while beating the opponent.

    3) pageant of dawn and dusk: participants showcase beauty and self-sufficiency by making and wearing their first adult robes and weapons while promoting the image of the dawn father for the men, and Dusk mother for the women. Points to strong weapons, well crafted clothing and how much they promote the might of Azim and nhaama.

    Once the winners are selected the women will one by one choose their life bond and a bonding feast is held in celebration of the pairings. Food hunted is presented, and the bonded share a sip of fresh arkhi before going off to mate. Those who didn't win but had high points stay in the tribe to work as Shepard's, cooks, foragers, and merchants as well as guardsmen, and to keep predators out of the camp. Those with low points go with the merchants to reunion to seek out other tribes to join.


Day to Day life


  • The bituun tribe are nomadic hunters and move with the lunar cycle, each full moon they move on to a fresh camp, traveling at night, stopping to camp at the dawn off the new day.

  • While camped, hunters and foragers gather pelts, meats and greens got day to day food supplies.

  • Merchants take the pelts by Yol to reunion trade for medicines and supplies, as well as drop off any Auri who came of age and was kicked out of the tribe for being too weak.

  • The leaders try to delegate the will of nhaama, and make sure food and comforts are spread equally among the tribe, handle any discourse amongst the members, as well as train the new generation of children till the dusk calling.

  • the guardsmen keep watch over the camp, and keep an eye on the livestock and Shepard's.


Downfall


  • 15 years of prior to the moons fall saw a decline in the tribe, the extreme selective breeding and rules proven to be their downfall. With fewer and fewer strong children born each cycle, as well as the garlean taking over doma. With these numbers, trade, supplies declined, with limited options, they flew to the south steppe and sought to participate and win in the Naadam. Though shortly before the naadam, a thrice cursed child was born to the tribe, which to them signaled doom. The tribe lost, and numbers fell even greater, with limited options stuck around the southern steppe.

  • 5 years before the moons fall, and the tribe declined further. Some of the older auri started to trade their children to tribe members and flee the steppe. With no recourse, the parents of the thrice cursed left the steppe with her by Yol.

  • At moons fall saw the tribe wiped from the steppe, the remaining member either leaving or being conscripted into other tribes. Any that remained adapted to their new tribe, looking down on the old ways since the thrice cursed was born.



Birth Parents


Father
Erdeni:

  • Born under a crescent moon on the 15th sun of the 3rd umbral moon, Erdeni was blessed with Nhaama's might, with lavender skin, eye and misty purple limbal and silver and black hair. He trained well as he aged and was his generation second best warrior in the dusk calling just shy of the new tribal Leader Tugan. He was chosen by the strongest of females in their Dusk calling, and the tribe was hopeful the pair would produce even stronger warriors if not a tribal leader.

  • When his first born was a thrice cursed daughter, he became Stoney and grew to hate the nomadic life. He pitched had pitched entering the Naadam to help the tribe only to be cursed with an ill-fated child during the eve of it. While most father train their offspring, Erdeni refused, hoping to exile her when able to do so and once the child was aged enough, set out westward hoping to leave the cursed steppe.

  • He and his dusk bond with their thrice cursed daughter took yols westward, landing in the Western Coerthas Highlands. The green alpine region matched close to the tribes origins and decided to make camp close to a landmark structure they assumed was a compound not realizing it was a fort. Wasn't long after they bid their Yols to leave did the forts occupants come out to investigate.

  • Erdeni met his end to Ishgard spears.

Mother
Yisu:

  • Born under the new moon on the 7th sun of the 7th astral moon, Was blessed with will, with peach skin, white hair with black streaks and heterochrome eyes of lavender and red. Trained in both the bow and leadership the tribe was hopeful for her to bond with the new tribal leader. During the dusk calling, she was the top winner and first to choose her dusk bonded, picking the second male after seeing his performance during the calling.

  • When she was with child, and with good foods and herbs, had a easy pregnancy. After some time Yisu worried for her child as the her time drew close and the moon was filling. Soon, it came to pass as she felt the pains of birth mid celebrations of the naadam. It was long and hard birth, which ended with a daughter born. Her skin was pale, and head of silver hair unlike most in the tribe and after cleansing, that her eyes were blue a color unseen to the tribe. It wasn't long after the Will of karesh was then found out making the child thrice cursed.

  • Feeling punished for some unknown miss deed Yisu fell into a cold mental state offering the child to the tribes wet nurses whom them named her Aza, sharing the name with the tribe. Yisu mental state never improved, causing her to never bond with her daughter. She tried to pass the child on to others but was told to leave with her.

  • Yisu met her end to Ishgard spears.



House Lothaire


  • House Lothaire came into power during the events during Gridania's foundation. The family's knowledge of botany and healing magics were a boon when building the city-state and was granted land in the newly built Gentry district. The house took on the sigil of the nightshade to symbolize their ability to help from the shadows.

  • The family helped develop the botany guild, and played a role in helping cultivate the gardens. They also dabbled in herbology to help make poisons to assist in the rising threat with the Ixali, as well as antidotes and antitoxins for folk dealing with them. The family gained more notoriety during the autumn wars as they had strong healers on the front lines to help push back the Ala Mhigan threat as well as agree 'ed to the petition to form the first Alliance.

  • The with the new alliance to Ishgard, the family would soon develop familial links to the lesser high houses to try and form strong bonds with the two city states. House Valentione being one notable house. The family became distant cousins, and while no links exist in current day, the sentiment is still there, bringing both families to visit each others city-states.

  • Around the time of the first garlean push, house Lothaire stepped in to help. Their healers and botanists set out to the hamlets in both the shroud and Coerthas to help shore up the defenses in the regions. It was around this time fall of the house started.

  • The fall began with the young house head met a Miqo'te huntress, the pair bonding over shared expectations of greatness with in their families.. one being a hunter and the other being a healer. They felt the current sentiment in the city-state was unjust, and not taking the ixali nor the garlean threat seriously in their eyes.

  • The pair soon bonded and the decline of the house came about. The miqo'te becoming a puppetmaster to her willing puppet. The pair showing great charity outwardly, but behind the curtains would often do experiments to come up with the most potent poisons, and toxins that would be undetectable. The hopes to slowly use it to rise to power and bring a new age to gridania.



Adoptive Parents


Father
Treduex Lothaire:

  • Born into the Lothaire family, a family of botanists and healers, he took up both of the family trades to try and better their standing and potential. He provides xare with her trick arrows.

  • He became a leader in the sanctioned healers of Gridania as well as a patron to the botany guild. He have manpower to find rare seeds to help cultivate stronger plants to help rebuild the forest.

  • He would often wish to study plants to make potent poisons and sedatives. his hope would be to ride Gridania of ixali and outsiders.

  • With Aza, he found her and formally adopted her once he noticed she survived mortal wounds while on the roadside, he saw this as good use to test his sedatives, poisons and antidotes.

  • His fate remains unknown

Mother
Xare Lothaire:

  • Xare was a shroud keeper before moving into the city-state and training as archer before becoming a member of the gods quiver. She is known for a keen hunter sense, and use of trick arrows. Common would be dipped in a sedative to slow creatures, or poisons if hunting Ixali.

  • She was made first bow of the Hawks her godsquiver squad after a long career of being a member along with her husbands influence. She would be the mastermind in their evil doings.

  • When adopting Aza, Xare saw her has a doll and plaything for her to use and dress up on a whim. When Aza was showing signs of the Karesh or even an once of disobedience, she would sedate Aza and lock her up as her husbands lab rat. She would also use Aza to keep Xare'a in line.

  • she met her end by Assassination



Life with the Bituun tribe


  • 15 years before the moons fall, on the 10th sun of the 4th astral moon during the Naadam celebrations Aza was born. Her mother Yisu after seeing Aza's appearance rejected her, and gave her to one of the birthing aids to take care of. Not long after this, it was discovered she had the will of karesh, was called the thrice cursed.

  • As Aza grew up, she was rejected by her parents and was taken care of by the other tribal members who lived on the fringes of the tribe. When it came time for all younglings to undergo training, she was given an axe and excelled in it. Since her status of a thrice-cursed, she was left to her own devices and would often leave the camp to train. Most of the time she would go after small prey, like halgai, but on times she felt her rage peaking would often go after Matanga.

  • With her neglect and mistreatment from being a thrice-cursed, Aza developed a sadistic and battle hungry personality, letting her rage peak when in scraps with other kids and on her personal training. She would also go after and take down larger and larger creatures for sport, to prove her prowess. This made other children more fearful, as they were much weaker then her and made the adults more leery.

  • 5 years before the moons fall, Erdeni and Yisu decided to leave the now declining tribe. They tried to pass Aza off but when unable to do so, took her along. After flying on Yols through snow capped mountains and warm arid lands, they landed in the Alpine region of Coerthas. The lush green region was similar to their own so they made camp. Not long after were beset on by Ishgardian knights, with her parents being killed before her eyes as well as taking a spear to her lower abdomen.

  • This causes Aza to fly into an extreme frenzied rage and fight back on her aggressors, killing them after a long fight. Though this didn't drain it and Aza ended up running blindly through the region and through the forest she found herself in. She went on to blindly kill anyone and anything that she came across, her body count reaching to 1005 after which she finally collapsed in the forest. She would soon be found by a traveling noblemen, and start cursed chapter in her life.



Life in House Lothaire


  • Aza woke up after a few weeks after being found on the roadside, he looked about and was unsure of her surroundings though learning she was in a healing quarters of the conjury guild. Her memory was hazy, unable to recall anything past the attack and passing out after a while. With help, she learned she was in the city-state of Gridania and a new ward to House Lothaire.

  • Her healer, a male Miqo'te names Xare'a Lothaire the son of the house, explaining basic info in basic Doman. She would nod along unsure what to make of everything. Once fully healed she was taken to the Manor house, but given rags and lived in a servants room near Xare'a so he could keep watch on her. Being a blank slate now, Aza passively accepted it.

  • Over the next 7 years, Aza would be the subject of charity in the house used as a trophy of philanthropy in front of guests of the manor and around Gridania. Her new mother opting to dress her up like one would a doll. Xare'a didn't take kindly to this and tried to Advocate for Aza, but would often be met with Xare saying it was this or she would be used as a test subject.

  • Aza, due to her treatment, developed a much passive personality as to not make her new family angry. Though this wouldn't last as Aza had night terrors, reliving the night of her attack, and on one night Xare'a would check on her and try to wake her. She woke up in a rage, and with her claws slash and scar Xare'a. Once the Lothaire's found out though, they opted to use Aza as a test subject anyway to learn more about the beast-like rage among other things.

  • They opted to cut her claws down to not repeat any mishaps, and during times when the family wasn't out or no guests over, Aza would be put in her cage and chained up. She would often get beaten to provoke the rage, and Treduex would take note of it. He then would sedate her with more and more potent sedatives. After a time of this, he would develop a potent combination for a power sedative that even rendered her memory hazy making her forgetful of those times.

  • Once Aza hit 14, to look good for the city state, opted to have her join the lancer guild all the while to keep tabs on her. Though training She would develop a keen focus for basic combat, but due her her mistreatment couldn't prefer the jump height. Frustrated Aza would walk the city-state and find her way to the botany guild.

  • Talking to the leaders, opted to join them as a means to explore more of her new home. The Lothaire's accepted this, being they have close links and could keep better tabs on her anyhow. Aza enjoyed learning of the plants and trees of the area and felt like she was a help to her new home.

  • A year later, talks of the Garlean threat circulated and the decent of the red moon sent the city-state into a panic. The Twin Adder reforming with the Lothaire's helping with Support. Xare being a first bow of the hawks and Treduex being a commander of a squad of wailers. Around this time, Xare'a was made a fully fledge healer treating those returning from attacks by Ixali and garlean both.

  • Aza helped the cause by gathering supplies using her skills to make potions and poisons as well as other supplies the city-state and hamlets needed. Talks of adventurers started spread as well, soon to be hero's using their gifts to help fight back the threats and coming of the primals. Aza became curious of such people but didn't let it distract her.

  • Things soon came to pass as the night of the calamity caused much chaos, as the dreadwyrm broke free from the fallen red moon. Due to how close the shroud was, it took the brunt of his wrath.. while the City-state remained unscathed much of the shroud was blasted and put to flame. Aza tried her best to keep focus on her tasks, but soon found herself in a daze.

  • As if her body and soul separated, Aza found herself looking through the eyes of another. In a city unknown to her, she would walk amongst the destruction and despair, calls and pleas echoing out. Then a blink to another moment, and with a somber yet determined mind, by her hands a world would fragment. Then just as the moment came, it passed with Aza awaking to a new power. She felt the emotions of everyone around her, the fear, the anger, the despair. Overwhelmed, she would collapse to be then found by Xare'a and brought to the guild for treatment.

  • When Aza woke up, she was running a fever due to the overwhelming sensations of her new powers. Xare'a bid to take care of Aza, with the Lothaire's agreeing as to look good. Xare'a would then nurse Aza back up feeding her much better foods then before. One in particular food Aza taking a liking to being Onion soup with bacon bread.

  • Over the next few years Aza would become numb and more passive, slowly coming to terms with her new powers. to giver herself moment of reprove she would often take solo gathering contracts in the less populated parts of the shroud. She would take time to empty her thoughts and feelings focusing on her scythe and hatchet swing, as if recalling past memories.



Life Izet and Zariah


  • Once Aza hit the age of 17, during a solo gathering contact she would meet a Hrothgar names Izet Tilvisch and his companion, a Veena Viera named Zariah Tilvisch. The pair would comment how her stance and style seemed more like a fighter then a simple botanist. This confused Aza, but would shrug, the pair would then ask about local lodgings. Aza would the bid the men to follow her to the City state and show them the Roost.

  • Over the next while the pair would help around the city-state and hamlets, doing tasks and earning a positive reputation along with other adventurers. They became curious about Aza and her innate abilities, and would often visit the manor to ask about Aza and her past. Izet then bid to take Aza under his wing, training her in the art of a gunbreaker and Adventurer, hesitant, Xare and Treduex agreed on it seeing an opportunity to increase their net and standing.

  • Aza then joined the pair and set off, going eastward to Ala Mhigo and beyond learning the ways of the gunblade.

  • Aza didn't mind being on the road, and took to training well, she couldn't pinpoint it but the nomadic lifestyle felt familiar. She put all her focus into training, working on her shots, slashes and continuation combos. Her personality though, remained passive if not cold and focused. Izet took note of this and while he didn't pry on the reasoning told her he was going to add warmness training on top of her gunblade training. Unsure what this entailed she agreed.

  • Izet would go on to say that in their line of work they act like bodyguards and when needed to do tasks for the resistance infiltrating garlean bases to get intel and save anyone there who was captured. He then added in worst case scenario mercy killing experiments gone wrong, Aza nodded in understanding and would go on to ask what the training would be and how it would help. He would then state that she would need to show compassion for those she saved, as well be welcoming and warm to those she guards.

  • Seeing the seriousness in Izet's tone, she would nod in understanding and agree to this training and take to it as much as her combat. Daily Izet would teach her how to smile, greet people warmly, cuddle her to show her to be soft and caring. While deep down Aza cursed this type of training, she was to passive to fight it seeing as it made Izet and Zari happy.

  • Over the next year Aza slowly developed a warmth and kindness as well as a battle focused mindset. She became highly skilled in the gunblade, and started to be taught basic verian, bozjan and garlean so they can use highly coded communication when her, Izet and Zari would infiltrate garlean bases. While Aza couldn't speak any well she could understand it very well, and would often be the one to decipher garlean codes and read intel. As her training became completed, Aza started to take jobs on her own, and be given chances to take the lead on operations in the varied bases.

  • One day word got to them that a mercenary squad met it's end in one of the ala mhigan castrums, so they went in to see what happen and finish any job they was on. The intel stated it was castrum abania, and the plan was to sneak in to see what happen to the squad and to report on any intel they could find. The trio then headed to Ala mhigo and met with locals to get as much info of the place as possible, with Zari getting a rough map of the lay out.

  • Once ready, the trio found a means of entry through an outlet pipe that lead to an inner corridor, from there the group would start to explore. They would soon find that the castrum was largely used for experiments, and loosely manned by the army. The experiments leading to forming super soldiers, though judging by their state were largely unsuccessful. Through her echo, Aza could feel the weight of the despair and anger which the more they went through, the more it effected her. As the group explored, it found that nearly all of the squad members met their end here and bodies used for experiments though signs of a possible lone survivor were also found.

  • The trio combed through the castrum, seeing for any signs of this possible loan survivor but the weight of the despair and anger took it's toll on Aza, causing her to faint. Izet and Zari confirmed the mission done, and carried Aza out to recover. Once awake they explained to her what happen, and stated she would need to take it easy for a while. Izet and Zari went back in to make sure to cover their tracks and confirmed signs merc did escape.

  • Over the final year of her training, Izet would help Aza learn to mine, and do metal work to help maintain her gunblade. They also managed to salvage some motorbikes and used it as a project to help teach Aza to meditate and keep herself calm even in times like castrum abania to help her not faint. Aza took to this training and enjoyed tinkering. Once Aza reach 20 and the end of her training, Izet and Zari gifted her a new motorbike as a congratulations to good work done. Aza thanked them and road back to Gridania to start a new chapter of her life.



The Start of Adventuring


  • Aza returned to Gridania after her training with Izet and Zari ended, taking time to let her adoptive parents know as per their request. She let them know she was going to sign up to the adventuring guild and twin adder as a full member. While the Lothaire's secretly hated this, they took it in stride once they realized they could use it to their advantage seeing how adventurers can make names for themselves. With their hesitant blessing, Aza Signed up to both.

  • Over then next year Aza worked with the twin Adder gathering with her botany work and her newly gained mining work. When called to do so world often serve as a caravan bodyguard for Gridania and other city-states. In rest-stops she would often hear of the exploits of the scions and the folks who were dubbed the warriors of light. Inspired a bit Aza took to further her training as she made connections and learned the ways of the dancer and scholar, improving on what Izet taught her.

  • Soon she came into contact with the scions themselves after Eorzea's win against the garleans and the end to the dragon song war. She was asked to join as she also possessed the echo, and Aza accepted. She worked with them as a supply caravan body guard to help the ishgard rebuilding effort. Aza being leery but putting aside for the sake of her work.

  • Soon her reputation with in the factions increased and was asked to join work in the far east in Doma and Kugane. Aza agreed as she wanted to see more of the world and happy to be given the opportunity to do so. She let Xara and the Lothaire's know and they welcomed it seeing Aza can spread their name through the far east and gain connections.

  • Once Aza reached Kugane, she was bid to go to the Azim steppe as she was to help locate a missing lord, and gain knowledge of the lands and culture. They figured with her being a Xaela, she would blend in easy and the locals more accommodating. Aza agreed and set off for the steppe landing in the reunion. A sense of familiarity washed over Aza as she explore.

  • She ended up meeting the lord and his contacts with in the Mol tribe as well as gained connections with the Dalamiq tribe. The lord stated he spoke with other scions as well and the bid to join the naadam in exchange to get their aid in freeing doma. Curious to the familiar sensations she was feeling, Aza joined in the Naadam as well. Over the coming days she went through her trails to earn her Yol and on the Eve of the Naadam help the Dalamiq and Mol tribe with their feasts.

  • Members did question if Aza was born of the steppe, and se said she had no memory of her childhood prior to being attacked and waking up in Gridania. The Dalamiq tribe member then offered to have Aza join their tribe, with Aza being hesitant on doing so explaining her adoptive parents. The Dalamiq members understood, and said the offer will always be open.

  • On the day of the Naadam Aza fought with as Much tenacity as any other Xaela, and along with the other scions help secure the Mols place as the new leaders of the steppe. They bid the Oronir to keep their place on the dawn throne, and both the Dalamiq and mol tribes told Aza she was always welcomed among them.

  • With her job fairly completed Aza made her way back to Eorzea, getting an apartment in the Mist to travel to and from Kugane easier. Aza slowly would return to bodyguard duty as well as visit the far east to help with any continuing work out there. She soon got word of Doma's success of beating back the garleans and visited to Celebrate with her new friends.



Adventuring Past


  • With the work in the Far east largely settled, Aza returned to her bodyguard work around Eorzea. She would reconnect with Xara and tell him her adventures and the pair would soon visit a bath house in the mist to chat. They would visit often with Xara debating on working their to escape the eye of their parents and Aza suggesting him to do just that.

  • Xara started to work at the bath house and enjoyed his time helping patrons relax. He took to the mingling and was a natural flirt among the guests. Aza cheered him on on days she visited happy to see her older brother finally spread his own wings. Though this was to be short lived as one of his co-workers approached Xara to talk of wanting to hook up with Aza. Xara was hesitant to help but would give this co-worker the details, A choice he would soon regret.

  • Aza ended up in a private room with this person, and soon after chatting he would hold her and massage her body. Aza stunned by the new sensations, simply let it happen unsure of what to do, and didn't want to cause a scene. After it was done Aza was unsure of the moment and kept it to herself, with Xara finding out after the guy bragged on what he had done. Xara would explain to Aza what happen, and getting confirmation it happen with out her consent, and he explained what it meant. With mixed emotions Aza left her gunblade and most everything including her apartment to Xara and left for the steppe.

  • Aza would spend several months out on the steppe, staying with the Dalamiq tribe and getting a home there. She would spend most her days hunting on horse back or flying with her Yol trying to come to terms with the events.. Her friends in the tribe did what they could to support her, and help her through her mental and emotional state.

  • Xara would write letter to Aza to check in, as well as feeling remorseful. Aza took this is stride though held to some minor resentment, blaming him slightly for being put in that situation when he had always tried to keep her safe as he could but failed. Though after the several months this eased up, and with Xara claiming to find a safe hang out in the area, Aza would return to Eorzea.

  • Aza soon returned on a chilly summer night, and made her way to the Tavern Xara wrote about. She took a liking of the place, and quickly made friends with the Bartender Sekt, a red haired golden eye moon keeper. Over the following months after, Aza would take in and help some Xaela Auri men who were down on their luck. She come to find they were former garlean conscripts and experiments.

  • She decided to take them in and house them in her mist apartment, and through them learned more of their life on the Steppe and as conscripts. Aza bonded with them feeling, and developed a motherly personality, keeping them housed while they did the house work. Aza would let them stay while she did work for the scions and started training as a monk to help keep her rage in check.

  • Aza's adventures would lead her to discover other reflections, and her work on the first would lead her to a realm of fae where she tried to help fellow scions in the area. While treating and exploring the region she came across a hedgehog looking creature seeming made of leaves and a flower tail. She took to taking care of it, and called it hedgey. With some help of the scions she was able to adopt the creature as a pet and would be seen everywhere with it.

  • The Auri crew she lived with grew to enjoy it being around at first but when Aza was spending more time with it and adventuring, they grew resentful. Xara took to noticing this and tried to warn Aza of what is going on. Aza tried to say she was trying her best to understand them, and that Xara needed to butt out for the moment.

  • After sometime while Aza was out on a job, a monster came to attack her and hedgey. Aza did her best to fend it off, but it proved to be strong. In fear of loosing hedgey and wishing to protect her, Aza raged out and fell the monster. Seeing as her will to protect was stronger then her will to destroy, her beast rage became tempered. Aza returned home after her adventures, and let the auri crew know. A few cheered Aza on while a few also took to resenting Aza even more slowly pushing her away. Not wishing to cause more issues, Aza tried to downplay a lot of her achievements.

  • Over the course of a few months though, she slowly bonded with the taverns bartender the pair becoming close friends, and soon the pair would subconsciously say "i love you" through saying "good soup" as her go-to order by now has been onion soup. Things ended up coming to ahead when one of the Auri was in a fight with the garleans. A cybog and a pair of magitek vanguard tried to attack a group of maelstrom trainees. Aza got the call to help and ended up accidently upstaging their would-be defender by winning the fight and shattering a drill bit with her bare fist. The Auri scoffed and the pair went to the tavern to relax and recoup, only for him to leave in a huff when Aza told the Sekt the story.

  • Aza and him went outside to try and understand him, but he left in angry. Sekt came out to check on things, worried about Aza's safety and Aza telling him she was fine. He told her he is rarely home but if she ever needed a break, she was welcome to it and handed her a spare key. Aza would then leave to return home only to hear the auri crew taking the side of their so called leader, not wishing to cause any more issues Aza decided to visit the Sekt's home.

  • When aza arrives she unlocked the door assuming he was out, only to find him at home eating a salad. Aza, embarrassed said sorry for barging in and he told her it was fine, and did say she was always welcomed. The pair would end up talking all night, Aza venting her worries and frustrations with the Auri crew and their leader. The bartender listening quietly then suggesting to just leave them.

  • Aza said she didn't have too many places she could go outside the steppe or back to Gridania. He then suggested she could stay the rest of the night with him and think more on it in the morning. Aza was unsure, but knowing she could trust this miqo'te decided to. He loaned her a shirt for something to change into and they would talk the night. After several hours of more conversation it came to ahead that the pair loved each other, and figure to start dating with Aza moving in with him till they could figure something out.

  • Aza would agree, and in the morning after rest, would tell the Auri crew her plans. The crew took the news poorly and resented Aza saying she is breaking her word of not abandoning them. She tried to explain she wasn't and they could keep her apartment, but they refused and Aza was left with her new boyfriend who had come with her for support feeling down. He would do his best to cheer Aza up, and told the patrons Aza was his new girlfriend.. though like with Aza a few patrons took the news poorly.

  • Over the course of several months the Aza and Sekt grew more fond of each other, with him helping her in her defenses as a gunbreaker and helping to train in the red mage arts like him as to have more stuff to bond over. The pair would then start to adventure together, rarely leaving each other's side. The adventures together lead them to learn even more stuff about each other, with Aza regaining her lost memories of her time in the Bituun tribe, and Sekt revealing he was in the merc squad at castrum abania.

  • Over the long adventure they came to the end of the universe where they sat in the Elpis field. It was here that Sekt feeling his life was for the better, asked Aza to be his wife with Aza agreeing. Though the happiness wouldn't last as two weeks before their bonding ceremony his boss, a Roegadyn mammet named Striking Talon, ended up shutting down and he ran off on a near suicide mission to get ceruleum to save her. In desperation he ended up killing innocent civilians to bring back enough ceruleum for his boss. Unsure what to make of this behavior Aza just accepted it, and soon the pair was bonded.

  • Things came to ahead though as her new husband slowly changed over time after becoming a reaper, and soon came to find his voidsent was just his 13th reflection he half bonded with. He would soon take on more and more merc jobs leaving his bartending job, as well as Aza alone most days. The pair would rarely speak and he would get closer to some new guests. Through more adventures, Aza and everyone learned of their past lives in the un-sundered world with her being not a sundered but a fragment of the primal hydaelyn. While her husband learned he was the sundered form of a man who was to make an plan to escape the star but failed before hydaelyn was summoned and fractured the world.

  • Full of regret, the Sekt shared he wished his past life had succeeded, and that nothing had happen to any of them. This caused Aza to blank out as she exists because the event ended up happening, and if his past life had in fact safe everyone she wouldn't exist. On top of this a patron they was close to the Sekt spoke up stating she was glad to have known him past and present, and she wouldn't have gotten far if it wasn't for his kindness, and admired him fully for it. Aza soon fainted as everything was happening too fast, and felt like her world shattered, Sekt took resentment of this and while he helped Aza there was clear resentment.

  • Over the next few months Aza and Sekt's marriage became volatile and he would come to abuse Aza. When no one watched he would strike her if he felt she was annoying, and other times simply use her to satisfy his needs all the while Aza taking it in stride as she didn't know what to make of everything and feeling she deserved it for what her greater self had done.

  • Things would soon get worst, as Aza felt a sudden influx of aether slowly enter per body. She would feel weaker and weaker as time went on. Her husband, seemingly unconcerned, would take on more and more merc jobs to be away from everything as much as possible. Seeing as she was largely on her own now, she took to getting access to the Sharlayan archives and discovered Hydaelyn's residual aether that didn't go into the life stream, was trying to flow into her body.

  • With help of her husbands new friend she was saved just in time with the help of a star bird, though this would lock Aza's echo in the process. As a result Aza became numb as she no longer could feel anyone emotions, while happy she was also feeling empty. It wasn't long after Sekt wanted them to divorce as he couldn't continue anymore. Aza stunned by this shut down and simply agreed.



Adventuring Present


  • Aza would then start to spiral, and take on a more risky lifestyle by taking on harder and harder scion jobs as well start going to more night clubs. Over the next few years she would sleep around, have short lived flings and go out drinking nightly. When in low times she would often go out to the steppe and reflect, or go to the Elpis field and contemplate just ending everything.

  • She would later be a short term friend, another bartender Kiriam who figured Aza could do with some centering and offer her a job at their secondary work place. Aza would agree and started a job as a courtesan and slowly becoming a popular choice among its patrons. She would make a large some of gil doing this, and slowly built connections.

  • Using the funds, She would then build a tavern and open it for operations feeling a but more confident in herself then before. Through this she would meet a new long time friend in Gabriele, a knight of Ishgard who was born in Dalmasca and Yamaha, a vampire miqo'te, as well as a fellow vampire whom was close with yama.

  • After several months of running her tavern and doing her courtesan work, Aza would find the courtesan life to be draining, and found herself getting some unwanted attention. She would sell her tavern and move out to the steppe to live with the Dalamiq tribe to avoid this, but kept in contact with her two new friends. The tavern would thrive with the new owner which Aza would show up time to time to visit it.

  • During a visit Yama would tell of a new job they had, a bar out in the mist and invited Aza to visit. Excited Aza would start to visit the bar, and saw the owner was the close friend of Yama and would claim Aza inspired them to open. Aza would also reconnect with a patron of her old courtesan job at the tavern.

  • Aza befriended the former patron and after some time bonding would soon start to sleep together. He would claim to care deeply for Aza but not want to start a relationship with her. Yet as this went on would get territorial over Aza, and one night as Aza was sharing a story, grew jealous and went too far in their moment, Aza nearly dying in the process. She was saved by a failsafe with in her and it allowed the lingering Aether from hydaelyn to revitalize her.

  • Hurt by this, she cut ties with the patron and stated if she saw him she would make what he did known. Aza life ended up changing slowly over the coming months as she came to realize her aether shifted to that of light and had the ability to harness creation magic. She told her friends of this but dared not sharing how. On her next visit to the mist bar, Aza came to find the owner became a ghost at some point and bid her to use her new powers to reverse it.

  • Aza would agree and use her powers to take the abundance of light aether from someone, and use it on the ghost to make her whole. Grateful, the owner thanked Aza for the help and Aza sat down at the bar feeling happy though a bit drained. She would sit next to a miqo'te gentlemen she would learn to be Ashen Fall a new guest to the bar. The pair would talk a bit before the night ended.

  • After some time He would start work at the bar, much to Aza's surprise and work as the bars cook. Seeing the writing in the wall on how similar this was looking, Aza openly declared she would never order the bars soup from him as last time she did she fell for the guy. Though as to tease her, and hope for a bit extra gil when she ordered the hot chocolate he stated he make it as sweet as her. On this Aza quickly hushed up and when she drank her hot chocolate found it to be the best she has had.

  • Over the next few months Aza and Ash would chat and bond. As well as Aza taking on a new job as a Blood doll at a vampire bar as a offer to help it out. Ash would visit it as well from time to time, and in one occasion hiring her and tasing her blood and aether for the first time, and enjoying it. Seeing this on timed Ash would visit his boss and yamaha would hire Aza out to Ash, and he accepted it. This caused the pair to bond even more.

  • Everything ended up coming to pass and the pair started to date after he offered to take her for a hang out but on her request it was a date. She would then move in with Ash, leaving her blood doll job and re-opening her tavern under his newly built Cafe. After a few months of dating, the pair decided to get married in private.

  • A year in, A year in, and Aza is happy with her new married life. She now owns her own tea shop and has made many new friends along the way.

  • As the year progresses a lot of things happen in recent moons with the death of Yama, making new friends and watching Xara and Gabe's relationship blossom. She tends to spend her days adventuring in Tural with her squad, going on date nights with Ash and enjoying time with him.

  • Aza also spent a good time on the Azim Steppe with the Dalamiq and Mol tribes to help them train for the Naadam. First she spent a moon there, then would go weekly up to the day of the Naadam and helped the Mol tribe retain their place as the lead tribe.

  • In her adventures in Tural, they uncovered plots, found the real Sphene and met a new dangerous person Calyx who seeks immortality through living life as endless. Aza, familiar with these types of nihilists, did what she could with her squad to help.

  • They tried to help the populace cope with the concept of death, a subject Aza was familiar with due having nearly died thrice and having seen death first hand. Aza would try to offer anyone who would listen a sympathetic ear to their worries, and offer advice if they was willing.

  • In the confrontation with Calyx, he summoned a primal using the very concept of death. Aza, while concerned that the primal summoning knowledge was still being spread, took it in stride and used her skills to fight it. With her light, and echoing the sentiment of Venat, she help defeat the primal and put a stop to Calyx's plot.

  • Since the fight, Aza has been decompressing by rebuilding her and Ashen's apartment and making him hot chocolate and coffee bombs. She keeps up her training and hopes to soon seek out more knowledge about her Aether and if there is away to return to some of her old combat styles.
